DESCRIPTION: from early age women are colonized with the image of what is an ideal woman. yet an average body shows at least some scarring at the end of its life cycle. the scars presented are from a Chicken Pox infection, a Hunter Rod Insertion Operation, an open & existing wound, laparoscopy surgery & from the removal of my left ovary. each scar has its own story & by selling them as pre-packaged tattoos, I am passing not only a piece of me, but the entire story.in this day and age where the obsession with beauty forces us under the knife at a certain age, the very poster-child of ugliness “the scar” is carried with us on a daily basis – well hidden yet always irritably noticeable.
